Love, Death & Gods (Not Robots)
The Death of a God Seen from Earth.
A god asks what love is.
A mortal answers.
1. The Question of a feeling
“Why do humans have feelings?” He asks, looking down at her.
“They feel because they love,” she answers.
“But what is love good for if you die and forget?” He coldly replies.
“Love is wonderfull because it gives their live a taste of eternity,” she says with certainty.
“Eternity?!” He says, laughing sharply. Then He adds, “ The only thing they will taste for eternity is death.”
“That is why the love they search for burns hotter than the sun You hold in Your hands. That is why it hurts so much when the love is lost,” she replies, raising her eyebrows.
2. Love and Death
“Where pain is present, death is too. And when death comes, You cannot hide behind love. Death doesn’t care about love,” He says, rising from stillness, His form vast and eternal, His tone indifferent.
“Nobody from above cares about love anymore. You created it and then forgot about it. They, down there, are keeping it for eternity. And as long as they die, love will never perish,” she says in a warm, quiet voice.
For a moment, He pauses, tilting His head, as if intrigued by her words. “And if I give them eternal life?” He asks, as the space between them seemed to shrink under His will.
3. The Temptation of Ethernal Life
“They will become like You then,” she answers softly.
“Like Me?!” He asks, His voice tinged with disbelief.
“Do You feel love?” she counters, locking eyes with Him.
His voice softens slightly, almost reflective. “I have never felt love and never felt pain. I do not know what suffering is. I only know eternity.”
She looks at Him with pity and calmly responds, “That is because You are dead.”
4. The Truth of Eternity
“I was never born, and I will never die,” He says, His voice swelling with thunderous pride.
“It is true. You were never born, but You never lived either,” she replies without hesitation.
He falters briefly. “I last forever. I don’t need feelings. Feelings hurt. Feelings bring hate and chaos,” He says, but the arrogance in His voice has waned, replaced by something almost uncertain.
“You are afraid,” she says quietly.
5. Love’s Power over Death
“You were once in their hearts, making them brave and defiant in the face of death. Some of them killed others in Your name, bringing destruction and despair. But since love is now growing hotter in their hearts… You don’t kill someone You love,” she says, lowering her gaze and smiling faintly.
He looks at her for a long moment. His towering presence seems to shrink, His voice no longer booming but calm and almost… human.
“Do you feel love?” He asks her, His tone unexpectedly gentle.
“Yes,” she answers, her eyes glowing with warmth.
6. The Final Act
So He takes her life.

Through this piece, I explore themes of love, mortality, and divinity. It's a reflection on the power of humanity, the fragility of belief, and love, even in the face of great challenges. I hope you enjoy it.
